'I can get through the wall if you give me a door'
Sean Rowe
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. Life’s challenges can sometimes cloud our vision, making it hard to see the path forward. That’s where I come in—offering a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your inner world, understand your experiences, and discover the tools you need to lead a more fulfilling life.
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor and member of the British association of psychotherapists (BACP). In addition to my work as a counsellor, I also support patients in a healthcare setting, helping them address challenges that may be affecting their health and well-being.
I currently have a private counselling practice in Twickenham and Richmond, in South West London.

I provide therapy that is not just a service, but a partnership. Together, we will work towards overcoming obstacles, healing from the past and unlocking your full potential. I use an integrative approach, encompassing both Person-centred and Psychodynamic counselling theories. Which means I will help you to explore your feelings and make positive changes in your own way and at you own pace. Including how past experiences may be affecting your current thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
I recognise the unique nature of each individual and tailor my approach depending on each client’s needs. I have found that in an environment of warmth, acceptance and openness - healing, maturation and change becomes possible.

Anxiety: Feeling overwhelmed by worry or stress, making it hard to relax or focus on daily life.
Depression: Struggling with persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or lack of motivation.
Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and life limiting, and the quality of our personal relationships can influence the quality of our day to day lives. Counselling can help you to identify triggers, develop healthier coping strategies and help you to manage negative thought patterns.
Grief and Loss: Coping with the emotional pain of losing someone important or experiencing major life changes.
Low Self-Esteem: Dealing with self-doubt, feelings of inadequacy, or a lack of confidence in personal abilities.
Healing from the Past: Working through the emotional and psychological impact of difficult past events.
Relationship Problems: Facing difficulties in communicating, resolving conflicts, or maintaining healthy connections with loved ones.
Counselling can also improve personal relationships by enhancing communication skills, increasing emotional awareness and helping individuals understand their own needs and boundaries. It allows you to explore patterns of behaviour that may be causing conflict and develop healthier ways of interacting with others.
Life Transitions: Navigating major life changes, such as career shifts, moving, or changes in family dynamics.
Stress Management: Struggling to manage overwhelming responsibilities or pressures from work, family, or personal life.
Personal Growth: Seeking to understand oneself better, improve self-awareness, or achieve a more fulfilling life.
I offer one to one counselling sessions in Twickenham and Richmond for individuals aged 18+ and cover many areas such as anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to cope with emotions or life situations, counselling can be a helpful way to gain support and clarity. Whether you’re dealing with stress, relationship challenges, or mental health concerns like anxiety or depression, therapy provides a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings with a professional.
In a typical session, you’ll have the opportunity to talk about your concerns and goals. I will listen attentively, ask questions, and guide the conversation to help you better understand your emotions and challenges. Sessions are confidential and tailored to your needs, offering support, coping strategies, and insights to improve your well-being.
The length of therapy varies depending on your specific needs and therapy sessions are not limited to a specific number. Some clients may benefit from short-term counselling, which can last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, while others may require longer-term support over several months or years. We will discuss together what suits your individual circumstances and we can regularly check in, to see how things are going.
Yes, all counselling sessions are confidential. I adhere to strict ethical guidelines and legal requirements as set out under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). The only exceptions are if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case I may need to take action to ensure safety, in accordance with legal obligations.
